Section 3.0 - The Newsgroup
3.1 - Why was this newsgroup formed?
The Newsgroup was first 'created' on 27/5/97 and was formed due to huge amounts of email being sent to the owners of some Delirious? web pages. It was thought that a newsgroup would make it easier to answer questions. It also seemed like a good idea at the time! The final reason was that quite a number of discussions about Delirious? had occurred on uk.religion.christian so it seemed sensible to create a new group.

3.3 - Why are there so many Christians in this newsgroup?
Delirious? started out playing at worship events held by their local church and most of their songs have strong religious meanings. Because of this they are often thought of as a "Christian band".
3.4 - Can I post prayer requests into the newsgroup?
By all means, however please note that the newsgroup exists for the discussion of Delirious?. You may be interested in AMDP, a prayer list for AMD readers formally run by David J Freeland. The list is currently inactive, so ask in the group if you want to try and get it going again.
